"JIMBO" was his nick name, just right for him... his name was Jim, and he and his lovely family have been coming to my hotel for the past few years now, twice a year. Unfortunatelly this summer suddenly Jimbo has left us, and I though that because he has honestly gave me so much as a person, even though we couldn't spend hours chatting due as well to his ilness,we could understand each other perfectly the "looks" were enough, and Jimbo as a human beeing was a" must" to remeber. He loved Cattolica, especially coming to the Senior, having a witty little chat with me, I used to ply with him because when it was the time to go out he had to use a wheelchair, so I used to say to him to take me for a ride in his beautiful Ferrari. He had a great sense of humor, very dry which it was coming out at the right time, spot on. Jimbo was a real gentlemen, he used to like singing very good too, or whistling. I only have good memories of Jimbo, his family has sent me a beautiful and so unique picture of him when we have the famous " NOTTE ROSA" which I will attach. Jimbo will be always part of the Hotel Senior, there is not a day I go without thinking of a phrase he said, a smile, anything. Mum had a mass for Jim when Paula and Eve told me he passed away, and when the priest said this mass today is speacially for JIMBO ( that is the name I wanted) I really felt honored to have met such a special person, with great values and morals. All i can say is that you are always here, you never left and I mean this Jimbo. Keep an eye on us from up there, I know you are doing it already.
